Description
Gilt bronze, size 10 1/2 with 1.9mm rounded face band flaring slightly to the shoulder. Oval bezel hand engraved with hound’s tooth border and the modius, a schematic representation of two priests with the fire altar between. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.79 for another example of this motif on a ring found in England. Professionally refurbished with 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
