Description
Swede 1896 Mauser bolt action rifle in 6.5×55 caliber. Features a 29″ barrel with excellent bore and threaded muzzle with thread protector. Has matching numbers on receiver, bolt assembly, bolt stop, mag floorplate, rear sight, barrel bands, and buttplate (safety is un-numbered). Nice Swedish original arsenal blued finish. Nitre blue finish with some thinning on rear sight, band retainers, guard screws, and bolt stop. Refinish walnut stock has early pattern brass stock disc marked “6.51” for bore diam, and “1” for barrel condition. Includes cleaning rod and front sight protector. Marked Carl Gustafs Stadts Gevarsfaktori 1905 mfg, CDI import mark, serial 1763xx, C&R eligible, overall Very Good Plus condition.
