Description

Springfield Armory 1899 bolt action rifle in 30-40 Krag caliber. Features the 22″ barrel with a very good somewhat dark bore, and a mottled blue patina metal finish with some feckles. Has a refinished wood military stock with a buttplate and sling swivel. Missing handguard, trigger guard screws, rear sight, barrel band, and possibly other small parts. Serial 3456xx, mfg circa Aug 1901, C&R eligible. Due to condition with missing parts, sold as a Gunsmith Special in need of repair, no returns.
