Description
2.1mm rounded face band flaring to the shoulders. Oval bezel engraved with a motif, perhaps floral, now obscured by age degradation. It served as a signet, which identified the owner and could be used to seal legal matters. (In Ben Hur, the title character identifies himself by stamping Messala’s tablet with his ring which bears the signet of Quintus Arrius.) Jewelry gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity. Rare wearable size.
