Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a great set of WWI cavalry-related field gear including a cartridge belt, horse brush, and more.
The set includes:– US M1903 MILLS style Dismounted Cartridge Belt with Rimless Eagle snap closures. No markings we could find but all snaps are in good working order. Some tearing in the canvas.– Pair of WWI U.S. Spurs with original leather straps and pads. Verdigris but good shape overall.– WWI US Horse Brush by Herbert Brush Mfg. Co., dated 1917 and unit marked to Troop F, 301st Cavalry regiment. – Pair of canvas cavalry leg gaiters with leather reinforcements by R.H. Long, good set overall.– M1910 Early Rimless Eagle Snap Cavalry canteen cover, retained leather strap and belt hook, no canteen or cup.
This is a great set of field gear for any World War I display. Comes ready for further research and display.
