Original Items: Only one set available. British Officers in WW1 outfitted themselves at their own expense so it was entirely up to personal preferences as to the accessories he carried. Here is a fine example of items one officer accumulates other than his Sam Browne belt and leather holster to match his uniform.
The grouping consists of:
All brass 1914 dated BRINTON MK1 Compass by Ross Evans of London. Brown Leather belt pouch containing a perfect ”ORILUX” London trench torch (flashlight). Brown Leather cased monocular by MONOX of PARIS” Brown Leather covered Chesterman 33 foot tape measure with brass mounts. Brown Leather quality made container for a telescopic sniper sight with mount, unfortunately the scope and mount were absent when discovered so are not included.
A very fine personal accessory set of a well to do British WWI officer.
