Gilt bronze, size 4 1/2 for wear on the small finger as was the custom. 2.8mm band flaring to the shoulders. Oval bezel cut with chevrons. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.75 for three examples dated from late Roman to medieval, about 6th-12th century AD. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
