GR79-1222-4452, Spencer M-1860 SRC, in .52 RF, 57xxx. The frame shows a worn patent address, they were often lightly stamped on these carbines. The metal is mottled brown with traces of blue in protected places. Visible cartouche behind the saddle ring bar. It has a stress line at the butt plate. The magazine tube is one designed for the M-1865 SRC. There is a repaired chip on the bottom of the forearm. The bore is bright and shiny, rifling is crisp with a few scattered size spots and a few pinpricks like spots in the bore. Very good bore. Very good overall.
