88” length. Variously known as a halberd of glaive, comprising spear point with finely forged bolster pierced with cross bars mounted with a pair of crescent form blades. Long tapered socket. Black lacquered haft. Excellent for the period. The head crisp with good patina and remnants of a German language tag to the base.
