079-1222-9010, Winchester M-1873 Octagon Barrel rifle in 44-40, standard configuration. 219xxx made 1886. Mottled gray metal with salt and pepper staining. With scattered fine pinprick pitting, mostly on the frame. Numerous bumps, dings and use marks on both metal and stock. A large 44 has been scratched into the stock. Patches of surface residue on places of the frame. The bore shows strong rifling with a couple spots of moderate pits and shallow fine pits the length of the bore. Good overall.
