079-0322-7786, Colt M-1860 Army, 3 screw, 81xxx made in 1862. The numbers match on the bottom of the gun, the wedge also matches, the cylinder does not match, but patina and condition match the rest of the gun perfectly. So undoubtedly a battlefield mismatch. Smooth gray patina with clear markings overall, 90% fine scene. The grips show wear and an application of linseed oil applied long ago to prevent drying. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling. I see some blue in bore still, there is a little dust in the bore but looks like a fine condition bore. The cylinder rotates, but main spring is broken, so hammer will not fire. Very good overall.
